What is it?
An Energy Performance Certificate or EPC gives information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs. The EPC will also provide recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money.
The EPC indicates an energy efficiency rating for the building and is valid for 10 years.
Are You Compliant?
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required whenever a property is:
There are a number of exceptions which do not require an EPC.

What is involved?
The production of the EPC will involve a site survey, this will vary in length depending on the size of the building and the nature of the services used. The survey will record information on the age and building construction, energy uses, heating/air conditioning systems, hot water systems and any renewable energy sources that the building uses.
Following the survey our approved assessor will produce the certiciate and recommendation report.
Once produced the EPC and recommendation report are lodged to the national register which is operated by Landmark.
